Polish & translate selected text. Select text in any app and press the hotkey (⌘⇧P on Mac, Ctrl+Alt+P on Windows) — a small popup offers Polish (tidy up wording, grammar and punctuation) or Translate into one of your favourite languages, and rewrites the selection in place. On macOS the popup can also appear on its own when you select a sentence in an editable field. It counts toward your words, just like dictation.
Pastes into every app. Dictation now inserts at the cursor by default everywhere — WhatsApp, Teams, browsers, Electron and web apps included — instead of occasionally landing in the clipboard.
Pick up to three favourite languagesfor translation and switch between them right from the recording HUD's language dropdown.
No more accidental snippets. A quick stray tap of the hotkey, with no real speech, is now discarded instead of pasting a hallucinated glyph or an apology paragraph from near-silent audio.
Calmer HUD.The selection popup no longer appears when you select a URL or a single word (e.g. highlighting the address bar to clear it), and the three "processing" dots now pulse evenly from the first beat.
Windows is here. The Windows app now mirrors the Mac one feature-for-feature — hotkey dictation, live translation, the recording HUD and selection polish — and updates itself automatically.

Adobe + Sketch + Affinity paste fix. Adobe Acrobat / Reader, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Sketch, and the Affinity suite all join the broken-AX allowlist. Same shape as the Office / iWork fix in 0.1.31.

Microsoft Office & Apple iWork paste fix. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Pages, Numbers and Keynote were silently dropping dictations into the clipboard because their Accessibility trees report a container role (AXSplitGroup / AXScrollArea) instead of the actual text body. These apps now bypass the strict role check, same way Electron apps already did.

Toast when paste falls back to clipboard.A small banner now appears at the top of the screen reading "Copied to clipboard — press ⌘V to paste" whenever Whispervoice can't insert text directly. No more silent fails.
Copy diagnostics button in Settings → About. One click copies your version, permission state and the last 200 lines of the paste log to the clipboard — paste into a support message and we can debug instantly.
Optional anonymous diagnostics let us spot apps where paste is failing for everyone (we found one in 0.1.29 already). Toggle in Settings → System → Send anonymous diagnostics. Never sends transcript or audio content.

Paste reliability in Electron apps.Dictating into Claude Desktop, Slack, Discord, Cursor, VS Code, Notion, Linear, Arc, Perplexity, ChatGPT desktop, Figma and similar Chromium-based apps used to silently fall back to clipboard — those apps don't expose a focused text element over macOS Accessibility, so our strict editability check failed. We now recognise the bundle id and trust the paste when the app has a focused window. Native macOS apps stay on the strict path (unchanged).
More diagnostic detail in handler.log for paste failures — accessibility-permission state and target-app info are now logged with every attempt.

About panel buttons. Website / Privacy / Licenses now actually open the corresponding pages on whispervoice.ai.
Message-style formatting. Balanced and Quality presets now format longer dictations like written messages: greeting on its own line, body paragraphs separated by blank lines, sign-off and signature on their own lines. Short single-sentence dictations stay as one block.
New imprint, privacy, terms, and licenses pages on the website.

First public beta.

Floating recording HUD. A small panel at the bottom of the screen pulses with your voice while you dictate. One click on Translateforces the output into your target language — works even mid-sentence, no need to say "translate to…".
One-click Pro reactivation. If you cancel and change your mind, the dashboard shows a banner with the remaining days and a button to reverse the cancellation — no second checkout flow, billing continues uninterrupted.
Affiliate program. Every Pro user gets a referral link. When someone you invite upgrades, you get a free month of Pro on top of what you already have.
Fast / Balanced / Quality presets.Replaced the old "polish on/off" toggle with three named modes that pick the right transcribe + cleanup combo for the situation.
Live translation.Speak in any of 90+ languages, choose a target language, and the cleanup model translates while it cleans. Trigger it via the HUD button or by saying "translate to X".
Cancel & refund handling. Cancellation runs to the end of the paid period. Full Stripe refunds and chargebacks revoke Pro immediately; partial refunds leave the subscription intact.
Universal binary. The Mac app now ships as a universal build — runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel.

Auto-popup on Windows. The selection polish popup appears on its own when you select text — already live on macOS, coming to Windows next.
Custom dictionary for names, jargon, and acronyms.
Team plans with shared billing and a dictionary across seats.
